Very Impressed

I'm really impressed with these headphones. I bought them for my 8 year old so he can use them in the car, train and plane but he also suffers from ASD and ADHD so being able to cut out noise helps him cope with day to day stuff the rest of us take for granted.
I use Sony 1000xm3's which are excellent but these Lindy's really impress me. They are lighter than the Sony's which means more comfort and the build and minimalist styling is spot on - they look and feel great.
The cup size is perfect for my boy and although I have small ears I prefer the larger size of the Sony's. This is a personal preference because the Lindy's do cover my ears and provide a very good seal to keep the noise out and the music in.
The thing that has impressed me the most is the latency. When playing the Nintendo Switch or watching a film via Bluetooth there does not seem to be any delay at all between what's happening on screen and the audio. With my Sony's there sometimes is a small delay, particularly during fast action games or film sequences. I don't know about technical stuff and why this is, but the Lindy's are brilliant!
They do sound best with the Noise cancelling on and via Bluetooth. These types of headphones are designed to be active not passive but if the long-lasting battery does die on you they still sound good connected by the provided wire.
No they do not sound as good as the Sony's but they do sound good. Worn back-to-back you will notice the difference but I have tried these out on the commute to work by train and was soon pleasantly lost in music or film oblivious to my surrounding's. The thing about all noise cancelling headphones is that they don't cut out all the noise - particularly people talking loudly - but they cut out enough that after a few minutes you just relax and become immersed in what you're listening to or watching. It's when you remove them that you suddenly get hit with the noise around you and realise how effective they are. I tried the Lindy's on the dreadful Central Line with no music and with music and they did the job of cutting out the din.
Oh, and the boy? Yes he loves them. Wears them all the time. Walks round the house shouting "what? I can't hear you"!!
Ear defenders are still sometimes essential but are tight, bulky and noticeable. With the Lindy's on he is just another 8 year old boy with cool headphones.

Returns Information

We're confident that you'll be totally happy with any goods purchased from Lindy. However, if you have changed your mind about an item, and you are a private consumer (i.e. not a business customer), then you can return it to us for a full refund provided that:

  • You notify us within 30 calendar days from the day after you've received the goods
  • The item(s) are returned within 30 days of cancellation. The 30 days start the day after you have notified us of the cancellation
  • The item(s) are returned undamaged and unused, with its original packaging and complete with all manuals, components and software seals (if applicable) intact

In accordance with The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 we would like to make you aware of the following important information:

  • We will refund within 14 days of receipt of goods (i.e. when we receive the returned items) or of evidence that the item(s) have been returned to us
  • We will refund all monies received, including outbound delivery cost, however if you chose a more expensive means than the cheapest, default standard delivery option offered we will only refund the default standard delivery option you could have chosen
  • We will not refund the cost of the return delivery to us
  • We have the right to deduct monies from refunds where goods show signs of unreasonable use leading to diminished value. We will not deduct for removal of packaging to inspect the item, but we may deduct for wear and tear where the item has not been checked but used. Damaged in transit
 If you receive goods which have been damaged in transit, please:

  • Sign the delivery note stating the goods have arrived damaged
  • Report it to us within 24 hours of receipt

Faulty or incomplete on arrival
 You can return goods that have arrived faulty or incomplete for a full refund or replacement, provided that:

  • For faulty items you notify us within 7 working days from the day after you've received the goods
  • If the goods are incomplete or there is a shortfall you notify us within 3 days of receiving the goods
  • The item you return is complete with all supplied manuals, components and software

If, after testing by our Technical Dept., the product is proven to be faulty we will refund your reasonable return carriage costs.

Faulty within warranty
 If a product develops a fault within its warranty period you are entitled to a repair, refund or replacement at our discretion.

Goods returned as faulty where no fault is found will be returned to the customer.
